Les Misérables is a sung-through musical based on the 1882 novel Les Misérables by French poet and novelist Victor Hugo.  Winning 8 Tony Awards in 1987, including Best Musical and Best Score, Les Misérables was composed by Claude-Michel Schonberg with lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and Alain Boublil.  The 2012 film was based on the musical. 

There are 54 tracks on this 4-disc accompaniment album: Tracks 1-27 contain the background tracks and guide vocals; tracks 28-54 contain the background tracks alone.  This album is a re-recording in the original show key and show tempo.
